Blooming Kindergarten

At Blooming, each child blooms at their own pace.

Our “Blooming” Kindergarten is a space specially designed to accompany those first steps away from home, in a caring, affectionate and exploratory environment.

It has classrooms for children aged 2, 3, 4 and 5. 5-year-olds are given full-day schooling, whilst 3 and 4-year-olds are offered the option of a full-day schedule with half-day playgroups.

Kindergarten is the first environment for socialisation outside the home. Here, bonds are essential: with others, with one’s body, with play, and with nature. Because we know learning is a way of being in the world, and that this ’being’ is built from realistic, sensitive and everyday experiences.

Working on values and emotional awareness is paramount at this stage. Our school offers strategies and tools for children to be able to observe and understand themselves, finding ways to express what they feel and think. We also encourage creativity, learning by doing, and sharing with others, in the belief that everything sown during early childhood will flourish in its own time, leaving a significant imprint on the development of each individual.
